Academics and Research

Welcome! I am a NASA Sagan Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA, and this fall I will begin the Chancellor’s Fellowship also at UCLA. My research interests include photochemistry, aerosols, and atmospheric evolution of Mars, other solar system worlds, and of exoplanets. I was a recently a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University. Before then, I received my PhD in Planetary Science from Caltech in 2023, where I was a NASA FINESST Fellow and KISS Affiliate. In 2018, I received my B.A. in Planetary Science from the University of California Berkeley, graduating with highest honors from the department. From 2016-2018, I studied Mars’ night-side ionosphere with NASA’s MAVEN mission.

Professional Ballet

New Classics Ballet Theater company member, 2026. Performances April, June, and December 2026.

Pacific Ballet Dance Theater apprentice, as of June 2026. Performances August and October, 2026.

Joined the Anaheim Ballet for The Nutcracker during their 2019 season.

2024 Dance Your PhD

Danced student roles in six seasons of Oakland Ballet’s The Nutcracker (2009-17).

On 90% scholarship, attended Joffrey Ballet School’s Pre-Professional summer intensive in NYC (8/17). Invited to summers at: the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Kirov Academy, American Ballet Theater’s NY (advanced) site, Joffrey Academy’s ISDI (2015-19).
